I have to agree with you about Clara. I had the same horrified reaction to news that she was pregnant, mollified somewhat by the high cheddar content of her husband's "whaaaaaaaaat??" reaction.

I like your comparison to Buffy Season 6. We definitely saw the darker side of some characters and saw how their characters eventually shined through when faced with adversity. Of course, it's not the same level of "darkness" as Buffy because there is a lot of tongue-in-cheek in the Guild.

What a great show, though. It's great, I think, because it is so honest in its poking fun at online and geek culture. Can't wait for season 4!
